about

Barefoot On The Cobbles was written as a 'companion song' to the historical novel of the same title by North Devon historian, Janet Few.
(Link to the book - bit.do/bfotc )

Dan's family have a long pedigree around Clovelly and Hartland. Three of Dan's ancestors were drowned in the 1838 Clovelly herring fleet disaster. The song The Storm was written about that tragic event.

Three Fishers is a poem by Charles Kingsley set to music, about the same disaster.

The Ballad Of the Brittons is a song written in honour of Dan's Britton ancestors and relatives, especially those who, because of emigration, are now spread all over the world.

Lament is a beautiful slow air played by Adele McMahon with Dan accompanying on guitar.
