The Bear was recorded in a studio on a narrowboat in Leicester
and follows on from Dan's 2019 release, Fire Horse.

The new album’s title song, ‘The Bear’, deals with the loss of important male role models in Dan’s life, including his father, and his friend and
musical mentor, Jackie Leven.
